ABOUT CALA
The Conservation Association of Los Angeles (CALA) is an organization dedicated to creating an inclusive network for conservation and allied professionals who live and work in the greater Los Angeles Area. CALA welcomes those who are in the conservation and heritage field at all career stages.
Through in-person and online programming, CALA strives to serve as a resource for facilitating communication and collegiality among those dedicated to caring for art and historic materials. Programming reflects the desires of the association members and includes activities such as professional presentations, social gatherings, virtual tip sessions, and group tours of field-related sites.
CALA was established in 2023 and is run by an all-volunteer board. The board is currently composed of two co-chairs, committee members with assigned roles and committee members who act as advisors only. If you are interested in becoming a board member, or if you have ideas for programming, please let us know!
